If you have questions about Business Portal Applications, please contact the program office that requested you report data or directed you to access their application(s).

NYSED Business Portal Applications

The following are some of the applications that can be accessed once a user has logged in to SEDDAS:

BEDS - Entitle Application to Institution Master File (BEDS) 
School Safety and the Educational Climate (SSEC) - Entitle Application to School Safety and the Educational Climate (SSEC)
TSDL and Staff Assignment Verification Report - Entitle Application access to the IRS Portal
August Graduation Rate - Entitle application access to the August Graduation Rate (AGR)
EOY Statement of Certification of Verification - Entitle application access to the IRS Portal
ESSA Financial Transparency - Entitle application access to the ESSA Financial Transparency (EFT)
NYSAA Tier 1 Assurance - Entitle application access to the PD system
Provisional ELL Status for YY-YY School Year - Entitle application access to the IRS Portal
Special Act Data Collection - Entitle application access to the Self-Assessment and Special Act Data Collection (SASP)

The following applications cannot be accessed from the Business Portal

  • L2RPT and Level 0 Historical can be accessed via the web site owned and provided by the Regional Information Center (RIC) or Big 5 associated with your school using your SEDDAS account credentials if you are entitled to L2RPT.
    If you need assistance with L2RPT contact the host or owner of your L2RPT associated with your school.

  • TEACH System Office of Teaching Initiatives
    TEACH is not accessed from the Business Portal and is not associated with SEDDAS accounts.

  • Teacher Access and Authorization TAA data is no longer accessed from the Business Portal, it is no longer in use.  All educator data will be reported directly by school districts, charter schools and BOCES using the Student Information Repository System (SIRS). For more information, please view the guidance on SIRS.
