IF YOU NEED A CHANGE OF CEO SEDREF MUST BE UPDATED

SEDDAS accounts are created automatically based on the CEO of record in SEDREF, this can include Superintendent, Directors, Principals, Head Masters etc…
Once SEDREF has been updated a new CEO SEDDAS account will be created and entitled, and the former CEO SEDDAS account will be disabled.
CEO accounts should not be manually created or disabled.
To change a CEO in SEDREF you must email datasupport@nysed.gov

SEDREF – IF YOU NEED OTHER CHANGES IN SEDREF

Please be sure the information about your school, district or institution in the State Education Department Reference system (SEDREF) is up-to-date and accurate. This is important as your SEDDAS Administrator Account titles are synchronized from the "Admin Pos Title" in SEDREF.

SEDDAS – State Education Department Delegated Account System (SEDDAS)

The New York State Education Department (SED) has applications that schools use to submit data to the Department, to view submitted data, and to request New York State assessments. Some of these applications can be accessed via the NYSED Application Business Portal. The State Education Department Delegated Account System (SEDDAS) is designed to automatically create CEO accounts based on the CEO of record in SEDREF in order to protect secure data from unauthorized access. SEDDAS allows CEO's to create, assign and manage secure user accounts. CEO's can designate school district personnel by creating Delegated Account Administrator's for their school buildings and district.
