The Office of Innovation and School Reform (OISR) is responsible for the implementation of Education Law 211-f and Commissioner’s Regulation §100.19 which establish intervention authority for districts and the Department in turning around of Struggling Schools. OISR leads a performance management and reporting process designed to connect schools and district with solutions- and research-based innovative practices drawing from field-proven expertise.
