For New York State School Districts, Charter Schools and Special Act School Districts

As of the 2018-2019 school year, the New York State Education Department (NYSED or “the Department”) will be utilizing different fund codes and project numbers for Title I, Part A and Title I, Part D. Creating separate budgets and budget narratives for funds used under Title I, Part A will better enable School Districts, Charter Schools, Special Act School Districts, and the Department to ensure that funds generated under each program are used effectively and appropriately on behalf of the students the programs are intended to serve.

Please note that allocations generated for services to students served in Institutions for the Neglected should continue to be included within the Title I, Part A program budget and budget narrative.

The Title I, Part A allocations below are based on the preliminary eligible child count numbers.
