OHM BOCES Superintendent's Day - World Language Workshop - March 15, 2019

Over 50 world language teachers from the Central New York area attended this all-day session facilitated by the OHM BOCES team of Lou Baskinger, Lucille Matt, Donyce McCluskey, Greg Smith and Fred Valentini.  After a keynote address on Shifts for World Languages by Candace Black from the Office of Bilingual Education and World Languages at the New York State Education Department, participants spent the day collaborating on reviewing writing rubrics, calibrating scoring techniques, and developing sample student writing tasks for Checkpoints A and B.
