The Board of Regents announced disciplinary actions resulting in the revocation of 4 licenses, surrender of 2 licenses, and 26 other disciplinary actions. The penalty indicated for each case relates solely to the misconduct set forth in that particular case. In addition, the Board acted upon 3 restoration petitions.

III. RESTORATIONS

The Board of Regents voted on June 13, 2023 to grant the application for restoration of the registered professional nurse license of Juliet J. Clifford, Mt. Vernon, NY 10553. Ms. Clifford's license was surrendered February 23, 2016.

The Board of Regents voted on June 13, 2023 to stay the execution of the order of surrender of the registered professional nurse license of Matthew Piegari, Jamesport, NY  11947, to place him on probation for five years under specified terms and conditions, and upon successful completion of probation, to fully restore his license.  Mr. Piegari’s license was surrendered May 19, 2015.

The Board of Regents voted on June 13, 2023 to deny the application for restoration of the dentist license of Steve V. Yunatanov, Kew Gardens, NY 11415.  Dr. Yunatanov’s license was revoked on January 9, 2007.
