Regents Actions In 54 Professional Discipline Cases And 2 Restoration Petitions

The Board of Regents announced disciplinary actions resulting in the revocation of 1 license and 1 certificate, surrender of 10 licenses and 1 certificate of incorporation, and 41 other disciplinary actions.  The penalty indicated for each case relates solely to the misconduct set forth in that particular case.  In addition, the Board acted upon 2 restoration petitions.

I. REVOCATIONS AND SURRENDERS

 Dentistry

The Board of Regents voted on July 28, 2009 to deny the petition for restoration of the certified public accountant license of Joseph G. Shanahan, New Rochelle, NY 10801. Mr. Shanahan’s license was originally revoked February 8, 2000.
