Onondaga Nation School

In this video, Ms. Simone Gonyea, Principal of Onondaga Nation School, and Jeremy Belfield, Superintendent of LaFayette Central School District, share the ways in which they create a sense of community within their school through community circles and professional learning communities. Community events and partnerships promote the principles of the CR-S Education framework. The current focus at Onondaga Nation School and across LaFayette Central School District is on training facilitators of professional learning communities, gathering feedback from students and teachers across the district, and working together to support mental health for staff and students.
