The Board of Directors of the Long Island Business Institute (LIBI) determined to close the institution effective January 27, 2024.

Teach-out Agreements and Transfer Opportunities

Long Island Business Institute established teach-out agreements with Empire State University, SUNY and Five Towns College.  Students enrolled in programs at Long Island Business Institute at the time of closure wishing to continue their studies should contact the institution noted below according to the program of studies.

Long Island Business Institute was accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) through January 27, 2024.  Questions pertaining to accreditation should be directed to that agency.  https://accjc.org
