One of the responsibilities of the Outreach Office is to guide the Library through preparations for its upcoming bicentennial celebration. This preparation includes research on the history of the Library; creations of print and online materials about the Library and the celebration; and organizing public programs and events during the bicentennial year.
The intern in this position will be responsible for researching topics associated with the bicentennial; proofreading materials before publication; and writing copy for publications and exhibitions.
The intern will be an intergral part of the program committee, attend planning and program meetings, and make presentations as required.
