Reissue – Request for Proposals: Charter School Expansion Grants

The Department has reissued a request for proposals for charter school expansion grants funded by NYSED’s Charter Schools Program State grant.  The RFP is available at http://www.p12.nysed.gov/funding/currentapps.html.  Please be sure to read the reissued RFP carefully, as certain elements have changed.

The purpose of the grant program is to support the expansion of high-quality educational opportunities for students in New York State by expanding the number of seats in existing charter schools in New York State that are already providing a significant educational benefit to students, especially those who are at the greatest risk of not meeting State academic standards.

Questions regarding the RFP must be directed to GC20.013@nysed.gov by 10/15/21.  Questions and answers will be posted no later than 10/29/21.  The application due date is 11/19/21.
